Ok. So I've been through the early stages and history precedents that lead the invention of cinema. Now I will try to get a more general view of the technological advances that happened since then. I also need to choose one time period to investigate further so I can start moving with my case study for assessment 4.
When thinking about cinema evolution, I see 3 big areas to work on:
> The impact of recording technologies (cameras, lighting, sound, etc)
> The impact of editing technologies (montages, after effects, softwares)
> The impact of "distribution" technologies (from the Kinetoscope to Nexflix. how we watch movies have changed!)
Maybe the best solution would be to focus in one area for this project. But I like a challenge and I might attempt to incorporate all of the above on my infographic ( I said might!)
(There is also the evolution on narrative and storytelling which I would love to talk about but this would be certainly a massive rabbit hole which I cannot allow myself to dive into at this moment, unfortunately)
