I called assessment 1 and 2 my "infographic voyage" and now I'm calling assessment 3 and 4 my "cinematographic adventure". We have been talking about the importance of storytelling and narrative, so creating a "story" for my own research process feels appropriate.
I remember back in school when the internet wasn't so accessible, I used to go to libraries and struggle to find books with the information I needed. Normally 1 or 2 books were enough to move on with our research... but now... now there are thousands of sources with bits and pieces of information and putting them together is like a puzzle. It's bloody hard, but luckily for me, I like puzzles.
However... in order to get this puzzle done, I need to find the right pieces and to visualise the final picture. I am confused about the pieces at this stage. But I guess for my final picture I want to show
not only how technology impacted the film industry.. but also how the film industry impacted our society, our culture... and ultimately, I want to find out if this is really a one-way road. I mean, are we impacted by technology or is technology impacted by us? Maybe both? 🤔🤔
