Setting up our course...

Writer's picture: Paula NascimentoPaula Nascimento

Some tend to believe creatives are generally the "go with the flow" kind of people. Maybe most of them are, but not me. I am extremely strategic, procedural, and certainly way too organised for the likes of most designers.

Don’t get me wrong, my creative thoughts are as non-linear, wild and free as they could be, but when it comes to starting a new project (or voyage as I like to call), I like to have a plan – a well detailed logical plan. Something to guide me, something that I almost always fail to follow but at least is there, all nice and pretty for when I get way off-track – which I probably will.

And like Jack Sparrow's compass, my direction might not always be the north, but it will eventually get me where I want.

(ps. you might have noticed by now a lot of movie references in here, it turns out that writing is not on top of my skill list, especially when I have to do in a language other than my beautiful mother tongue (Portuguese in case you wondering). So, to make this experience easier and funnier, I'll be using references from one of my favourite things in this world: cinema.)

So.. The plan for this voyage will be to find out:
